stuffaboutminneapolis:
This is the front of a holiday card put out by the Courage Center back in 1987 to celebrate the Twin’s first ever World Series championship. My high school (De La Salle) is basically in downtown, and I remember they let us out early to go watch the parade. While most of the kids scurried off to different parts of Nicollet Island to drink or smoke up, me and a buddy trudged our way through the masses to go see the parade. It was an effin’ zoo down there, so we ended up going to Shinder’s (R.I.P.), and blowing our lunch money on baseball cards.
This is 80,000 times better than the Prince cover.
